Language Arts 12 – Term 1 - 4 (sold separately)

This workbook course provides 12th grade students with an advanced exploration of the English language, with a focus on refining academic, creative, and research writing skills. Students deepen their understanding of writing structures, tone, and style while learning to communicate ideas with clarity, accuracy, and purpose. Through structured modules, the course encourages both analytical and imaginative expression.

Each chapter includes two types of end-of-chapter questions to reinforce learning: Review Questions offer recall-based practice in open-ended or multiple-choice formats, while Critical Thinking Questions challenge students to apply and synthesize their knowledge through conceptual, higher-order reasoning. These exercises promote deeper understanding and encourage students to think independently and creatively.

Throughout the four terms, students will develop a mature command of written communication, preparing them for both academic and professional settings. With alignment to the Common Core State Standards, this course supports mastery of essential language skills while cultivating critical thinking, self-expression, and lifelong literacy.
