About the Course

This course is designed for English 11. It is intended for students who earn extra credits or are repeating the course.

This course emphasizes important classical and modern literary texts for the purpose of education and the understanding of the students. Students will learn about the importance of storytelling in human lives. They will use the understanding of these text elements and structures to comprehend literary works and symbolism within the texts.

Additionally, students will write informational and literary texts to reflect and recreate experiences, report observations, and persuade others.

The course aims to guide students to extend their knowledge and enhance their thinking process, learning strategies, insights, and self-awareness.

All courses are written to the Common Core standards.
